Cimarrona is a highly refreshing spritzer that Guatemalans love drinking especially during the hot days of summer. Although salty water might not sound very appealing, this mixture with limes is surprisingly delicious and vitalizing. Cimarrona

Ingredients

  • limes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 bottle sparkling water
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Cut the lime into 8 pieces
  2. Use one piece to wet the rim of the glass with lime juice and then press the rim into a small plate fille with salt
  3. Fill the glass with the remaining lime pieces and ice cubes and then top it off with water
  4. Finally add some salt to taste and stir the drink well
